How to properly maintain and clean a dishwasher?

Filter cleaning


The dishwasher uses the coarse filter and fine filter to double filter food residues, which can ensure more refined cleaning and facilitate extraction and cleaning. After long-term use, the coarse and fine filters need to be cleaned on time, so as not to affect the dishwasher normal use.


1. Coarse filter


The coarse screen is used to catch food debris that cannot pass through the drain pump and needs to be cleaned if necessary. When cleaning, use the handle to rinse the coarse filter with clean water in advance, and then put it back in its original position.


 2. Fine filter


The debris on the fine filter is automatically washed away each time you wash the dishes, but the line section of the fine filter should be cleaned several times a year. Rotate the handle counterclockwise first, lift the fine filter with the handle, loosen the coarse filter to clean the fine filter, and then put it back in. Check whether the edges are properly sealed when installing, then turn the handle tightly, and pay attention to the handle facing the washing machine after locking. Only outside the bowl machine is correct.

Unplug the power plug before cleaning, remove the coarse and fine filters, and remove the colored plug on the bottom drain fitting on the right side. Run your fingers into the holes to turn the pump vanes to remove any obstructions, and replace the drain pump plugs and coarse and fine strainers.

The square spray arm of the dishwasher can fully wash the surface of the tableware with a strong water flow, so that the tableware can be cleaned with more protection. In daily use, the water outlet and bearing may be blocked. In order to ensure a more perfect cleaning effect, it can be cleaned with a needle or similar items. The spray arm can be removed for cleaning and put back in place after cleaning to ensure it is securely installed.


 After the dishwasher has been used for a period of time, the appearance of the dishwasher may become dirty and affect the appearance, so it needs to be cleaned.


1. Door


Use a slightly damp cloth (with a little detergent if necessary) to clean the perimeter of the dishwasher door.


2. Front Panel


Keep the keys clean to avoid oil stains. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth, never use a cleaner to avoid scratching the surface. Before cleaning the keys, turn off the main power switch to avoid accidentally activating any key functions.

 The stainless steel interior of the dishwasher will keep it clean under normal use, but if hard water is used, limescale can build up inside the dishwasher. When you notice limescale, put two teaspoons of citric acid in the detergent drawer and run a 'power cycle' with no dishes in the machine.
