How to maintain leather boots?
1. Maintenance before wearing
(1) The new shoes are not painted with shoe polish. To protect the new shoes, be sure to apply a thin layer of shoe polish before wearing it, polish it after a few minutes, and spray it with waterproof mist. Place in the shoe last after natural air-drying.
(2) For suede material that is easy to stick to dust, lightly spray a layer of anti-slip agent on the upper before wearing it, and then gently brush it with a brush after it is dry.
2. Maintenance while wearing
(1) Do not wear the same pair for more than 3 consecutive days; during the rest period and every night, use shoe lasts or waste newspapers and support sticks to prevent deformation
(2) Avoid wearing in rainy and snowy weather, avoid bumping, and contact with corrosive objects;
(3) The boots you usually wear should be cleaned in time every day, oiled every week, and general maintenance should be carried out.
Three, maintenance when storing
(1) Before storing, the boots should be cleaned, oiled and polished according to the general maintenance method in (2), and placed in a ventilated place for 1 to 2 days. After natural air drying, they should be stored.
(2) Use shoe last or waste newspaper to fix the inside of the boots to prevent deformation.
(3) It is best to put a desiccant in the shoe box, and then store it in a place with low humidity.
(4) When the boots are stored for a long time, they should be taken out occasionally to prevent mold.
Four, maintenance after wetting
(1) First use a strong absorbent cloth to absorb water and wipe off the mud. If there is any mud, you can scrape it off with the back of a knife. Then use a wrung out damp cloth to gently wipe off the marks, and apply a bright light when the boots are half dry. Oil;
(2) Put the old newspaper into the shoes (the old newspaper is good in water absorption, can absorb moisture, but also help to fix the shape of the shoe), and then place the shoes on the old newspaper to dry in the shade. The place should be placed in a ventilated and cool place, and air-dried naturally. ;
(3) If the shoe sole is leather, when drying in the shade, the shoe sole should be facing upwards, or the boots should be overhead, so that it can dry completely. Do not put wet shoes directly in the shoe cabinet, so as not to breed other shoes with mold;
(4) After air drying, put in the shoe last to prevent deformation until it is completely dry;
