Can the mask be washed and reused?



During the high season of influenza and the outbreak of the epidemic, masks can be used to protect against diseases spread by droplets through the respiratory tract. Can disposable medical masks or N95 masks be reused after cleaning?



N95 mask :


Take 3M's KN95 masks as an example, they are all maintenance-free protective masks, that is, they are only used for a limited number of times.


There is no fixed replacement time, so it depends on the use of the mask. When the blocking effect of the mask fails, it should be replaced. (The following is an N95 mask)


When the appearance of the 3M mask is not damaged or deformed, the breathing resistance is normal, it is not contaminated, or it is soaked, it can be reused, and the continuous use time should not exceed 8 hours.


Disposable medical masks :

Disposable medical surgical masks, as the name suggests, can only be used once.


Can not be washed, can not be blown with a hair dryer, can not be disinfected with alcohol.


Cold mask:

Can be washed and reused, but can only filter larger particles.
