Range hood cleaning
Deep clean range hood
Today, we will clean the range hood deeply. Cleaning it is a heavy physical task, and the accessories inside must be disassembled. Let’s not say much, let’s start cleaning with me:
1. Spread a layer of newspaper under the cooker hood.
2. Rotate the screw to remove the oily tray; then remove the stainless steel cover (for the fan).
3. Clean the tray and cover first. First wipe off a lot of oil with kitchen paper, use dish soap or a strong decontamination detergent, and use a sponge brush to clean the cover. (Don't use steel wool) Wipe dry with kitchen towels and set aside.
4. Start cleaning the fan. Use a screwdriver accessory to disassemble the fan. For stubborn stains in this fan, use a strong detergent and a brush to clean it. Just dry it and set it aside!
5. Then clean the stainless steel surface on the cooker hood. Use a sponge to clean with a decontamination detergent, and wipe it several times to dissolve the oil.
6. The uppermost pipe can also be removed and wiped. After wiping, let it stand for a few minutes. At this time, the oil is almost dissolved! Use a wet towel to wipe the stainless steel surface and the smoke pipe clean, wash the towel several times, and wipe it several times. Until there is no residue of cleaning agent.
7. Wipe off traces of water with a kitchen paper towel. Finally, reinstall the smoke pipe cover, fan, and tray. (When reinstalling the fan, it is best to turn on the switch and try it first to see if there is any mistake in the installation!)
Alright, the work of cleaning the cooker hood is complete! Let's take a look at the results: 👇
