How to clean the speakers of iPhones and Samsung phones

The correct way to clean the phone speaker

Over time, the speakers of smartphones will accumulate fluff, dust, and all kinds of dust that you might not see. If it is not cleaned for a long time, the sound of the phone may become fuzzy. But before going to the repair shop, you can try some useful methods to clean the speakers separately from the outside and inside of the phone.

Use household items to remove dirt from speakers:

1. Locate the speaker on the phone. iPhone speakers are usually located on the left and right sides of the bottom charger port. Samsung speakers are usually also at the bottom, but generally only on the left or right side of the charger port. The handset is almost always located on the top of the front of the phone, where the phone is against the ear.

Pay attention to the location of other speakers, such as the side near the volume buttons, or the bottom of the front of the phone

2. The cotton swab is wiping the outside of the speaker. Slightly draw a circle on the speaker hole while applying a little force. Keep wiping until all the dirt is removed. If the speaker hole is large enough, press the cotton swab into the hole. But don't press too tightly, just let the cotton at the tip of the cotton swab into the slot. After inserting, turn the swab back and forth while applying a little pressure.Change the cotton swab if it is dirty.

3. Press the viscous rubber into a small ball and press it on the speaker hole. Break off a piece of 2.5 cm thick rubber and squeeze it into a ball. Keep pressing until it becomes soft and malleable. Then, press it on the speaker hole. Apply enough pressure to make the viscous rubber extend into the speaker. Hold it down for 2-3 seconds and take it away-you will see the dust sticking to the sticky rubber. Continue to do this until no more dirt can be removed from the speaker.

Turn the sticky rubber over and use the clean side to continue cleaning.

Adhesive rubber can be bought at office supply stores or online.

4. Use a medium-hard toothbrush to clean the speakers. Tilt the bristles toward the top or bottom of the phone. Keep it parallel to the top of the phone and move it up and down. Then, place the toothbrush vertically (parallel to the side of the phone) and clean it by moving it left and right.

Tilt the brush upwards and scrub the stubborn dirt with the bristles at the bottom.

Use a medium-hard toothbrush-the soft bristles are not enough to bring out the dirt, and the harder bristles are too thick to reach into the small holes of the speaker.
