How to clean wine glasses properly?
Professional wine glasses are elegant and light, smooth and thin, with both beauty and practicality. The excellent transparency allows wine tasters to fully appreciate the color, clarity, bubbles and gradation of the wine. However, only by properly cleaning the wine glasses can the advantages of professional wine glasses be retained.
Take crystal cups as an example. These cups are generally made of materials with good permeability and have many small holes, so they can easily absorb odors. Therefore, it is best to use fragrance-free detergent or baking soda when cleaning the crystal glass. When cleaning, not only can not leave stains, but also evaporate the water droplets attached to the wine glass.
Specific steps are as follows:
1. Before cleaning the wine glass, it is best to prepare 2 plates of clean water, one plate is used for the first round of cleaning the wine glass, and the other plate is used to filter the wine glass.
2. When cleaning the wine glass for the first time, use vinegar or lemon juice to clean it. In the subsequent cleaning, use mild detergent and medium-low temperature water to clean. It can also be cleaned with moderate temperature soapy water; do not suddenly soak the wine glass in Low temperature or high temperature water can easily cause the wine glass to break.
3. Carefully scrub the lip prints on the mouth of the cup, the fingerprints on the outside of the cup, and the bottom and periphery of the cup soaked in wine.
4. Put the wine glass in the second plate of clean water and filter.
5. Use a white linen cloth to wipe the wine glass while rotating it in one direction. Wipe away the water marks and fingerprints remaining on the wine glass body. Do not wipe it too hard to cause damage to the wine glass.
6. Put a layer of cloth on the cup holder in advance, and put each wine glass upside down. The distance between the wine glasses should not be less than 2 cm. If conditions permit, it is best to place a dedicated wine glass storage rack above the counter at home.
